1976 Dairy Isle Discs
One of several regional sponsors of player disc sets in 1976 was the upstate New York area chain, Dairy Isle. The discs are 3-3/8" in diameter with a black-and-white player portrait photo in the center of the baseball design. A line of red stars is above, while the left and right panels feature one of several bright colors. Produced by Michael Schecter Associates under license from the Major League Baseball Players Associatioin, the player photos have had uniform and cap logos removed. Backs are printed in red and purple. The 70-player checklist is unnumbered. The fronts of the discs are identical to the Isaly's/Sweet William discs. - 2007 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, 16th Edition.
